We Tell Stories

We Tell Stories

We are working on a video series exploring how different communities of people in Singapore are affected by COVID-19.

We hope to share stories of people doing good(across sectors) and what we, as #SGUnited, can do to overcome these challenges together.

What Do Youths Think About COVID-19? | #WhatTheySay

“I’m just kiasu!" The first video of the #WhatTheySay series is filled with self-deprecating laughs, confessions, and a large dose of reality from Singaporean youths. Brace yourself for the startlingly honest reflections on the Covid-19 pandemic in Singapore.

Dabao: How ah? l #WhatTheySay

In our second video of our #WhatTheySay series, we debunk common myths surrounding dabaoing food and reusable containers. For instance, did you know that cash is way dirtier than our reusable containers? Moreover, contrary to common belief, most disposables are not actually sterile as they pass through many hands before reaching food vendors.

What we are

What we are

We hope to build a community of people who care by sharing everyday stories that will move you, whether they’re funny, heartwarming, inspiring, or a mix of everything!😊❤️🌍

Why tell stories

Why tell stories

We believe in the power of storytelling and how it shapes the way we see our communities, our country and the world.

Mainstream media tends to focus on news that are national and global. Who then tells stories of the everyday person?

We want to use our platform to share human stories that you would otherwise not learn of. Through what we share, we hope to inspire people to challenge the status quo, expand their circle of care and work towards a society that is more warm, caring and inclusive.⠀
